Matthew Curran - Bournedale Elementary School, Buzzards Bay
"I love my school because I am learning so much. Everyday I go we learn something new. My school has computers that I learn on and books that I read. My teacher inspires me to do my best because she praises me when I do a great job and she makes me smile."
Julia Pickel - West Elementary School, Plymouth
"My school is West Elementary. Here is what I like about my school: My teacher because she is so nice; my classmates because they are fun and goofy; and finally my classroom because it is an adventure waiting to happen! I like to learn because it is always very fun or interesting."
Guhan Nandakumar - Amvet Boulevard School, North Attleboro
"A school library is a treasure for kids. It makes them learn science, history and new words that give them a challenge."
Divam Gupta - Allen Avenue Elementary, North Attleboro
"I like books because I like reading. I like to go to the library so I can pick a lot of books. I like to do the calendar so that we know the date. I like the word wall because you can read from it. That means you can be a better reader! I like those in my classroom!!"
Jessica Brakaj - East Elementary School, Sharon
"I would like to go to this school because it is preschool to 3rd grade. It has a good view and a jacuzzi, pool and water slide for when you take a break. There is an art room, a gym and gymnasts, and a library. Whenever you do something good, you can choose to go do something. That is my dream school."
Rena Park - Baker School, Chestnut Hill
"Baker School has a huge library with lots of books, really kind teachers and a really fun playground."
Nieve Chaplin - Oakdale School, Dedham
"Let me tell you about my ideal school. Every classroom will have a bookshelf with lots of books on it. Every classroom will have a clock so that you could tell time. Everybody could have their own computer so then you could do more powerpoints."
Isaac Allen - Marsh Grammar School, Methuen
Nicolas Sclafani - George Keverian School, Everett
"My ideal school would be a school in Everett. Three things that I love about my school are my teachers, reading and seeing my friends. All of my teachers would inspire and encourage me to do my best in school. They’d be very nice. They’ll help me to learn how to read and write. I’d be very thankful for their hard work and dedication. They would help me through first grade. Reading is my favorite subject at my school. I like reading books about dinosaurs! Silent reading is my favorite part of the day at school. Reading inspires me to learn so there would be libraries for every grade! Lastly, seeing my friends in school makes me happy. They inspire me to be my best so I can be a role model for them. I’d have an extra playground to play with them. I love my school and I am happy to go there everyday!"
